Reason for entering:  Came into contact with spores that threaten to compromise her mind(if left alone will render her a zombie to a parasite basically not in control of her own body). Without the money for treatment she believes that winning will land her a job to secure these funds.  

Personality:
Josefina has a inferiority complex that she is actively trying to combat due to the discrimination she faced growing up. Responds uncertainly if not downright suspiciously to praise or friendliness, especially from strangers whose intentions towards her are unknown. She lacks social skills outside of a professional sense, which she works comfortably in. 

Outside of this, she tends to be a milquetoast. The only exception being with those she's close with and has opened up to.

Strengths:
While not physically strong, her size and weight can be used to her advantage.

Weaknesses:
Poor maneuverability and slow
Cold-blooded -  She is an Ectotherm and cannot produce enough body heat on her own. Is heavily reliant on external sources of heat to operate. Her normal body temperature should be around 30˚ Celsius or 86˚ Fahrenheit. She will experience torpor (Basically Lethargy) at a state of lowered body temperature and metabolic activity (Under around 21˚Celcius / 70˚ Fahrenheit), the extent of which is dependent on how cold the temperature of her environment is and if there's no sources of heat. Even short-lived exposure to subzero temperatures can inflict irreparable injury, if not kill her.  
Extremely sensitive to bright lights - will be temporarily disoriented and take several minutes to adjust and regain her bearings.

History:
Has decent upbringings for her species. Grew up a ward of the state before ultimately landing a job as a consultant for a science fiction magazine after graduating from a local community college.

She's always been a social outcast and has grown adjusted to an independent lifestyle. One of her few friends she's managed to keep is Uzi, to whom she's very loyal towards.  

Likes: Umozozi, Making friends, Having philosophical discussions, Learning, Stories (has a newfound interest in film, comic and/or visual mediums), and Warm Weather.

Dislikes: Cold Weather, Rain, Night, Being cornered or put on the spot.

Other:  
Is something of a cumbersome flier and cannot efficiently fly. Rather she uses her wings to soften steep landings and help get herself to her feet.

The scarf serves as a means to help filter or block bring light from reaching her eyes, and is a safety blanket for her. 

While she doesn't like to fight, she isn't afraid to defend herself. She'd have her reservations with hurting others, but will do what she feels is necessary to win. Normally she'd play fair in such a competition, however since her life is at stake she will be less willing to do so.
